I'm delighted to share the latest developments at GeoPostcodes. Last month we introduced postal codes for 2 new countries (Congo D.R. and Uganda) and extended our list of city tags with OECD metropoles. All the changes are listed below.

Congo D.R. and Uganda postal services introduced postal codes to their operations.
These postal codes are now integrated in our data as well.
Introducing the city tags
Large cities or metropoles frequently do not fit within a single local administrative division. The best example is New York City, which is a grouping of 5 boroughs (equivalent to counties) in the State of New York.
As these cities do not naturally appear in our standard data, we introduced the concept of city tags to label all localities from our data belonging to larger cities. In September, we extended the city tags to almost 700 metropolitan areas, as defined by OECD.
